Police presence seen in east Columbia Monday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A police presence was seen in east Columbia early Monday morning.

ABC 17 News crews arrived to the area of St. Charles Rd. just before 4:30 a.m.

Our crews on scene saw officers searching the area and at least six Columbia Police Department vehicles.

It is not known why police were called to the area or what they were searching for.
