RECALL ROUNDUP: Recalls issued for Bissell vacuums, ADHD medication and Toyota vehicles

Bissell Multi-Reach and Hand Floor Vacuums

Vacuum maker Bissell has recalled about 142,000 of its Multi-Reach Hand and Floor Vacuums.

The company says the vacuum's battery pack can overheat and smoke, posing a risk of a fire.

The 14 models were sold at Kohl's, Target, Walmart and other stores nationwide and online from August 2016 through December 2022. Bissell says it has received 17 reports of vacuums smoking and releasing a burning smell.

Users are urged to stop using the recalled vacuums immediately and contact the company to receive a free replacement vacuum.

Azurity Pharmaceuticals ADHD medication

Azurity Pharmaceuticals has recalled some of its ADHD and narcolepsy medication after the wrong pills ended up in a pill bottle.

The company issued the recall after some of its Zenzedi tablets had an antihistamine medication in the bottle.

The recall warns those who take antihistamine instead of Zenzedi could experience drowsiness, which the company says could put patients at higher risk of accidents or injuries.

So far, the company has not received reports of anyone getting hurt due to the pill mixup. The affected medication has a lot number of F230169A with an expiration date of June 2025.

Those who have the recalled medicine are urged to return it to their pharmacy.

Toyota recalls 50,000 vehicles

Toyota is urging drivers of certain Corolla and RAV-4 vehicles to stop driving the vehicles immediately.

The automaker says if the vehicle's airbag deploys, a part inside is at risk of exploding and can shoot out sharp pieces of metal. If that happens, Toyota says it could cause a driver or passenger serious injuries or even death.

The affected vehicles are 2003 and 2004 Corollas and Corolla Matrix. RAV-4 vehicles are also included in the recall with a model year of 2004 through 2005.

Toyota says owners should not drive these vehicles until they repair or replace the airbag for free.
