One-year-old killed after being hit by train in Ray County

RAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A one-year-old girl from Hardin is dead after being hit by a train.

According to an online crash report, the girl was standing on the railroad tracks at 8:48 Saturday morning in Ray County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A said in a tweet Saturday, the patrol is conducting a preliminary investigation and the Ray County Sheriff's Office will be investigating the death.
