End to a Warm Weekend | Tracking Rain for Tonight
SUNDAY: We will start the day with a bit of sunshine but see increasing cloud cover into the afternoon hours. It will be a bit breezy with winds gusting up to 25 mph from the south but those will continue the warmer temperatures. High's in the mid 50's.
SUNDAY EVENING: Rain chances start to beef up as we head into the overnight hours. Rain is expected mainly south of I-70 and east of 63 but isolated showers are going to pop up all over the viewing area through the night and into Monday morning. Low's staying warm in the mid to upper 40's.
EXTENDED: Rain moves out as we head towards lunchtime tomorrow but then a cold front will slip through and start dramatically dropping our temperatures into the evening. We will remain cloudy tomorrow and windy conditions will persist on the backside of this front with winds gusting up to 27 mph from the northwest. High pressure starts to set in on Tuesday creating sunny skies. We will see sunshine throughout the work week and stay dry. Our next rain chance is holding off until Friday night.
