New Columbia polling location on MU campus

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Boone County Clerk said Friday a new polling location will be available to voters at the University of Missouri campus.

Clerk Brianna Lennon said the polling location at the MU Memorial Student Union will open to voters for elections on March 10 and Nov. 3.

The Boone County Clerk's Office also kicked off two new campaigns to reach new voters. Friday marked the first "Friday Facts" campaign sharing answers to questions Lennon's office frequently receives. The other voting campaign by the clerk's office "Why I Vote Wednesday," will also connect more voters to resources.

The last day to register for the Missouri Presidential Preference Primary Election in March is Feb. 12. Absentee ballot applications for the election need to be submitted by Feb. 26.
