Doolittle Fire puts out two-story house fire Saturday morning

DOOLITTLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
Saturday morning, firefighters put out a blaze at a house near Newburg High School.
No one was injured, according to Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District. Doolittle Fire, Rolla Rural Fire and Phelps Health EMS were dispatched to the two-story house with heavy smoke showing around 5:30 Saturday morning.
In a FaceBook post, Doolittle Fire said, "Crews quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down from the outside and made entry to perform a search and extinguish the remaining fire."
The Phelps County Sheriffs Department and Missouri Division of Fire Safety are investigating the cause of the fire.
