COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 51-year-old Eldon woman was found safe after a missing person advisory was issued for her.

MSHP wrote that Christy Hayes has been missing since 4:30 p.m. March 25 at 111S Oak Street in Eldon. The release says that Hayes left the Eldon Police Department to go back to her residence in the 500 block of North Tedmark Avenue. Family members have not been able to contact her.

Hayes may have a gun, “has a history of mental instability,” and should not be approached, the release says.

The police said on Thursday that she had been found safe.
