Rep. Hartzler raises concerns about President Biden’s $1.9 trillion dollars COVID-19 relief package

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mid-Missouri Representative Vicky Hartzler (R) has not said how she's planning to vote on President Joe Biden's proposed $1.9 trillion dollar coronavirus relief package.

ABC 17 News spoke with the representative this morning about a number of issues regarding the pandemic.

Hartzler raised concerns about the package saying it might be too soon to pass the additional aid.

"My concern right now is that we one trillion dollars worth of vaccines and help due to the coronavirus that has not been spent yet of the $4.1 trillion dollars that we've already propriated."

The Mid-Missouri representative made her way to Columbia today to meet with frontline health care workers at MU Health's vaccination site.
