ELDON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man is charged in Miller County after police say he threatened multiple area churches on Sunday.

William Inlow, 67, of Rocky Mount faces a felony charge for making a terroristic threat after he was arrested on Sunday.

Eldon police officers say Inlow threatened the First Christian Church in Eldon. Court documents say Inlow told a friend of the church's pastor that the church would 'pay for firing a church member.' Inlow also allegedly told the person 'pray for them tomorrow.'

Inlow's probable cause statement shows the pastor told police Inlow was known for 'bringing guns into the church and scaring people.'

Officers received calls from the Jefferson City Police Department and the Lake Ozark Police Department. Eldon police were allegedly told both police departments were called about threats to other area churches.

The PC statement shows some family members were included in an email from Inlow to one of the churches.

Online court records show his bond was set at $10,000. He placed on a 24 hours hold in the Miller County Jail.
