A 25-year-old Mexico man died after a motorcycle crash Saturday night.

Richard Dollens died at the Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico after the crash in the 900 block of Curtis Street, the Mexico Department of Public Safety said in a news release. Dollens lost control of his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle and went off the road, which hit a utility pole guy wire and a handrail along a sidewalk before coming to rest in a creek, according to the release.

Dollens landed on the sidewalk, police said. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the release.
