Electric cooperative reports hundreds without power in Vienna area
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
About 650 Three Rivers Electric Cooperative were without power late Tuesday morning after storms rolled through the area.
The largest outage affected more than 600 members in the Vienna area and was reported around 9 a.m., according to the cooperative's outage map. Another outage reported at about 10 a.m. affected nearly 50 members near Owensville.
The utility warned members on its utility page to stay away from downed power lines.
Forecasts say Mid-Missouri could be in for more showers and storms Tuesday and Wednesday.
