New center for teens opens on Lincoln University’s campus

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A new teen center opened Tuesday on Lincoln University’s campus in Jefferson City. 

The center which will be rent free for five years in thanks to a partnership with LU and Central Bank. It will include a gaming area, an academic area for students and more.

The center also includes a virtual-reality-based workforce program to teach students the fundamentals of careers they choose that are tied to the university.    

The facility can house up to 70 teenagers a day.
