Electrical problem leads to internet, phone problems at Lincoln; campus closing early
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Lincoln University campus will close at 1 p.m. Thursday after a small electrical issue led to problems with the internet and phone systems.
The school said in a news release that an electrical issue at Martin Luther King Hall led to problems with internet and phone access to half the campus' buildings. The hall is a network hub for the campus.
The hall was evacuated and utilities were shut off, according to the release.
Campus offices will be closed Friday and again on Monday for Memorial Day. Offices will reopen Tuesday morning.
No classes are in session at Lincoln.
