QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should the Jefferson City School District have kept its mask mandate?

The Jefferson City School District said Thursday that it is dropping its requirement that students and staff wear masks indoors around others, effective Friday.

Some districts around the state have kept their mask mandates in place, such as Columbia Public Schools. Jefferson City school administrators said case rates had dipped enough in the schools to make dropping the requirement appropriate.
