Police tape off scene at apartment complex in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police have taped off a portion of an apartment complex's parking lot in Jefferson City.

Officers had crime scene tape up in the Heritage Apartments lot on Wednesday night. ABC 17 News crews saw officers placing evidence markers in the lot and taking photographs.

Police on scene did not provide any details about what they were investigating.

The apartment complex is in the 800 block of Monroe Street.
