A Father Tolton Regional Catholic High School assistant wrestling coach was arrested in Columbia on suspicion of sexual assault.

Boone County Jail records show 45-year-old Travis Brooks was booked into the jail early on Sunday morning. He has since bonded out.

A Diocese of Jefferson City spokeswoman said Travis has been fired from the school. Director of Diocesean communication Helen Osman confirmed the alleged assault did not involve a student or staff member from Father Tolton.
