Second missing Gasconade County teen found safe

GASCONADE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The second of two teen sisters who went missing over the weekend in Gasconade County has been found.

The Gasconade County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook that Jersey Reynolds, 17, had returned to her father's home near Gerald, Missouri.

The sheriff's office said earlier that deputies found 14-year-old Brooklyn Reynolds on Sunday in Gerald.

According to the sheriff's office, Brooklyn and Jersey went missing from their home in Owensville on Saturday around 11 p.m. The girls were reportedly driving a gray 1998 Honda Accord with Missouri license plates JG8 J8H.

On Sunday, the girls were seen around 3 p.m. at the Rosebud General Store. According to a witness and surveillance camera footage, the teens left in the same Honda heading west on Highway 50.

The investigation determined the teens left on their own.
