FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

No one is in custody after a deadly shooting in Fulton on Tuesday.

A Fulton Police Department deputy chief Dall Hedges said one man was found dead in a residential street on Tuesday afternoon. Hedges said that police are trying to locate any possible suspects, but could not confirm if police are looking for more than one person.

Police later wrote in a press release that the victim was Jakiem O. Braggs, 19, of Fulton.

A neighbor who wished to remain anonymous told ABC 17 News that they first heard "pops" while they were in their home. The neighbor claimed they saw a man crouched behind a moving car with a gun in his hand while he was shooting. Moments later, the neighbor saw the man down on the street while he was bleeding.

Property damage was observed to multiple cars that were towed away, neighbors say. Neighbors claimed the man was not from the neighborhood, but said they had seen him in the area before.

Fulton police says there is no threat to the community.
