One person escaped without injury when a boat caught fire on the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports, a 66-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, was near the 60-mile marker of the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks Friday. At around 3:00 p.m., it caught fire.

The man jumped into the water and did not suffer any injuries.

The boat, a 1987 Celebrity, was secured at the scene after being totaled.
