Most University of Missouri faculty members who took a survey felt that campus mask policies should be stronger.

The MU Faculty Council reviewed the results of the unscientific survey of faculty at its Thursday meeting. About 74% of those who took the survey said MU's mask rules should be expanded to require masks anywhere indoors.

However, the board of curators voted this month to relax the campus mask requirements and allow vaccinated people to forgo masks at indoor social and athletic events.
