Investigation requested after state auditor calls for prosecution of former Randolph County sheriff

Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick says former Randolph County Sheriff Aaron Wilson needs to be prosecuted for the misappropriation and misuse of funds. The more than $224,000 in funds spent from Feb. 2023 to Oct. 2024 has given the sheriff’s office the lowest rating of “poor,” according to the report Fitzpatrick released Tuesday.

Columbia commission approves of ‘Ashford Place’ subdivision despite pushback from residents; plan heads to City Council
