Two juveniles detained in connection to shooting on Trimble Road

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two juveniles were detained on Sunday evening in connection to a shooting on Trimble Road on Saturday night.

Columbia Police said in a news release two juveniles were detained around 4:55 p.m. on Sunday.

One was detained for first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and child endangerment, according to the release.

Police said the second juvenile was detained for juvenile delinquency and felony tampering with physical evidence.

Both were referred to the Boone County Juvenile Office.

Columbia Police responded to three shootings on Saturday, all with limited information.

No injuries or property damage were reported for the shooting on Trimble Road.

Columbia Police could not comment if the shootings are connected as of Monday morning.
