Police: No evidence found in Friday shooting investigation

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police say no evidence was found after a suspected shooting Friday night in southeast Columbia.

Columbia Police Department spokesman Jeff Pitts said in an email Monday morning no shell casings or shooting damage was located in the 1800 block of Juniper Drive.

Officers responded to multiple shooting calls in the area, police said.

According to Pitts' email, police received a report of a threat with a weapon on Juniper around 7:45 p.m.

The spokesman said the investigation led them to Dana Incorporated on Lemone Industrial Boulevard.

No people were hurt and no property was damaged, officers said.
