COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A shooting in north Columbia late Wednesday night led to one person being arrested.

The police department said no people were hurt and no property was damaged in the incident.

Columbia police arrested 48-year-old Keith Shields after responding to a disturbance call in the 2600 block of Eastwood Drive around 11 p.m.

During the investigation, officers found one spent shell casing. However, no injuries were reported and no property was damaged, department spokesman Jeff Pitts said.

Officers said Shields was located at the scene and arrested on suspicion of multiple felonies.

Boone County Jail records said Shields was in jail custody being held on a $11,000 bond Thursday morning.
