Police respond to early morning shooting at west Columbia gas station

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department announced Friday morning that officers responded a shooting at a west Columbia gas station.

A release from CPD said police were called to the Petro Mart at 1004 N. Stadium Blvd. around 1:30 a.m.

The release said no people were hurt in the shooting and multiple shell casings were found at the scene. Officers said the front door of the business was damaged in the shooting.

CPD spokesman Jeff Pitts said Friday afternoon that no arrests have been made in the case.
