Columbia police officers arrest person suspected of IHOP shooting at Waffle House

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department said officers responded to the IHOP on Conley Road after shots were fired early Friday morning.

Police department spokeswoman Brittany Hilderbrand said officers responded to the restaurant around 3:30 a.m.

Hilderbrand said the person suspected of the shooting drove from the business. However, officers say the person was later arrested at the Waffle House on Vandiver Drive.

Officers say no people were hurt in the shooting.

As of Friday morning, police hadn't released the name of the person arrested.
