The Tuscumbia High School teacher who is accused of sex crimes against a student has posted bond.

Michael Allen is charged with two counts of sexual contact with a student and two counts of second-degree sodomy.

He posted bond Thursday to get out of the Miller County Jail.

Allen is not allowed to have contact with any of the victims and no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 17.

An investigation began on March 1 after the Missouri State Highway Patrol Courage 2 Report system received tips about Allen having inappropriate contact with students, including providing alcohol to female students, according to a probable cause statement.
