Second Amtrak employee files lawsuit following train derailment
CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A second employee from Amtrak has filed a lawsuit after the train derailment in June.
According to court documents, the victim Anthony Bryant is suing both Amtrak and MS Contracting for negligence.
Documents say Bryant suffered injuries to both arms and resulting in his right arm having to be amputated.
The lawsuit claims the train was overcrowded and that amtrak failed to provide a safe work environment.
