QUESTION OF THE DAY: Did you expect Jay-Z to be named in a Diddy lawsuit?
The news broke Sunday that the rapper Jay-Z -- legal name Shawn Carter -- has been named a defendant in one of the civil suits against Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Like Combs, Carter is a giant in entertainment. He controls a media empire and is married to another one of the most powerful (and richest) artists on the planet -- Beyonce.
Now he's being accused of raping an underage girl with Combs. Combs is the subject of a federal criminal case after a series of civil suits accusing him of wrongdoing.
