Teens arrested for vehicle, mail theft in Callaway County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four teenagers were arrested in Callaway County this week on suspicion of stealing cars and mail in the Mokane area.

The crimes happened overnight Sunday into Monday, the Callaway County Sheriff's Office wrote in a Facebook post. Two vehicles were stolen -- the owner found one of them and the other was found at a Fulton business.

Deputies arrested four teens aged 14 and 15, the post says. They were released to the county juvenile office on multiple charges.

The sheriff's office says more charges may follow.
