Police: Property damage observed to northeast Columbia home after shots were fired
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Police found evidence of shots being fired on Tuesday night after property damage was observed to a northeast Columbia home.
A Columbia Police Department sergeant said at the scene that no injuries were reported. Suspect information was not available. The sergeant could not confirm how many shots were fired.
Boone County Joint Communications sent a message at 10 p.m. stating that "Godas Drive" was closed from Valley Creek Lane to Godas Circle "for police incident.”
An ABC 17 News reporter saw a Columbia Police Department vehicle blocking Valley Creek Lane. The reporter saw police searching the area with flashlights. A crime scene van arrived in the area at 10:07 p.m.
A K-9 unit arrived at 10:36 p.m.
