Columbia man indicted on 32 felonies in child molestation case
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia man was indicted on 32 felonies by a grand jury on Friday.
Keith Fletcher, 53, was charged with 10 counts of second-degree child molestation, six counts of second-degree child sex trafficking, six counts of sexually exploiting a minor, six counts of possessing child pornography, three counts of second-degree statutory rape and one count of tampering with a witness.
An arraignment for the new set of charges is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7 at the Boone County Courthouse. He was previously charged with seven felonies in the case.
Previous reporting and court documents indicate that Fletcher allegedly filmed himself sexually assaulting a child several times between December and February.
In another case, Fletcher was charged with first-degree sodomy of a child younger than 12 years old, two counts of first-degree child molestation, failure to register as a sex offender and being a sex offender within 1,000 feet of a school. A hearing in that case is also scheduled for Oct. 7.
