A Moberly man was charged with three felonies after he was accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Tony Hamm Jr., 33, was charged on Friday with statutory sodomy of a child younger than 12 years old, sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 years old and second-degree kidnapping.

He is being held at the Randolph County Jail without bond. An arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the probable cause statement, Hamm allegedly sexually assaulted a youth on Sept. 15 and kept the child from leaving the room of the assault.

Hamm allegedly told the child to not tell the child’s mother about the assault, the statement says.
