COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A man who was accused of multiple child sex crimes is facing more charges after he was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday.
Jarrod Don Hoffman, 50, was charged with four counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree child molestation, sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 years old and first-degree attempted sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 years old, a misdemeanor.
Court records list his address as Fulton, but jail records indicate he is from Columbia. He is being held at the Boone County Jail without bond. Hoffman was initially charged on July 16, 2020, with four counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. He was arrested on May 31.
An arraignment for the new charges is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday at the Boone County Courthouse.
Previous reporting states that Hoffman previously pleaded guilty in 2014 to child porn possession and failing to register as a sex offender in 2016.
