Versailles PD: Stolen truck used to steal money from ATM at shopping center parking lot

VERSAILLES, Mo. (KMIZ)

A stolen Dodge pickup truck was used to steal money from an ATM machine from the West Vue Shopping Center, according to a press release from the Versailles Police Department.

The release states the Dodge was stolen from a business on South Highway 5 and the suspects attached chains from the truck to the ATM to pull the security door off the machine. The release did not state how much money was stolen.

The pickup truck was found a “short distance” away from the ATM and the suspects were seen on cameras heading south on Highway 5 in a black Kia with no visible license plates, the release says. Police said in the release that there are “at least 3-4 suspects.”
