Morgan County man charged with child molestation has arraignment scheduled for next month

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Morgan County man who was accused of child molestation had an additional charge filed on Wednesday.

Shane Lee Anderson, 45, of Barnett, is now charged with two counts of third-degree child molestation where the victim was younger than 14 years old and a count of second-degree child molestation where the victim was younger than 12 years old. Anderson was initially charged with two counts of third-degree child molestation where the victim was younger than 14 years old.

Anderson was being held on a $100,000 and Morgan County Jail records indicate he was released on Tuesday. An arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the Morgan County Courthouse. An order for fingerprinting was ordered on Tuesday.
