Camdenton man charged with child molestation

CAMDENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Camdenton man was charged on Tuesday with two counts of first-degree child molestation and one count of sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 years old.

Brandon Marshall Wisdom, was booked into the Camden County Jail on Friday and is being held without bond. An initial court appearance was set for Tuesday morning.

According to the probable cause statement, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office received a CyberTipline report about an account on the social media website Kik. Wisdom allegedly wrote at least four messages between Jan. 17-Feb. 2 describing how he sexually assaulted a child and shared 69 photos, a number of which included child pornography, the statement says.

In one of the photos, law enforcement saw Wisdom’s name included.

Wisdom was interviewed by law enforcement on Friday and allegedly admitted to owning and using the Kik account.
