Three indicted separately by Jefferson City grand jury for child sex crimes

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three people were indicted by a Jefferson City grand jury in separate cases for child sex crimes.

Isaiah Laws, 32, of Macks Creek, was charged with second-degree child molestation. He is accused of molesting a child in Cole County who was younger than 12 years old on Jan. 1, 2020, according to the indictment. A warrant was issued for his arrest and no bond was set. A court date has not been set.

Hardy Crawford Jr., 29, of Jefferson City, was charged with first-degree child molestation. He is accused of molesting a child who was younger than 14 years old on Feb. 13, 2022, according to the indictment. A warrant was issued and no bond was set. A court date has not been set.

Davion Evans, 24, of Jefferson City, was charged with statutory sodomy. He is accused of sexually assaulting and threatening violence against a child younger than 14 years old on Dec. 19, 2020. . A warrant was issued and no bond was set. A court date has not been set.
