Jefferson City man charged with rape, statutory rape

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man was charged on Wednesday with multiple sexual assault charges.

Christopher Williamson, 23, was charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree statutory rape. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Thursday and an order was placed to keep the probable cause statement under seal.

The complaint states Williamson raped a victim on Dec. 27, 2016, and committed statutory rape of a second victim who was younger than 14 years old between April 1, 2018-June 30, 2018.

A court date has not been set.
