School bus driver, bus aide accused of child molestation in Pulaski County

A Waynesville couple, who are described as a Waynesville School District bus driver and bus aide, have been charged with child sex crimes

Marshall Nightingale, 28, was charged with two counts of second-degree child molestation, while Charlotte Rhea Nightingale, 36, was charged with one count of second-degree child molestation. Warrants were issued and a $250,000 bond was set for both. A court date has not been set. Their names were not present on the Pulaski County Jail online roster.

According to the probable cause statements, Waynesville police had responded to a report of child molestation and the couple had allegedly confessed to molesting children. Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies picked up the couple and brought them to the county jail after learning the address was within the county’s jurisdiction, according to the probable cause statement.

Both of the Nightingales had allegedly confessed to deputies at the jail, the statement says. The couple allegedly described a second assault by Marshall Nightingale in 2017, the statement says.
