A Perry County man has been charged with first-degree child molestation after authorities claim he sexually assaulted a child on Oct. 29, 2022.

A heavily redacted probable cause statement says Blouin molested a child in a chair while in the presence of other people. The mother of the victim spoke with law enforcement on April 11 and allegedly provided photos of Blouin of the day.

A court date has not been set. The probable cause statement says Blouin is currently in the Perry County Jail for similar charges. Blouin was charged with two counts of statutory sodomy of a victim younger than 12 years old and one count of incest. Court records indicate that he was being held on a $50,000 bond.

In another case in Perry County, he was charged with two counts of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and one count of resisting arrest.

A case review is set for both of those cases at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8 at the Perry County Courthouse.
