Columbia man arrested on domestic assault charges
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Augustin Carrillo Jr., 38, was arrested on domestic assault charges for allegedly hitting and kicking a woman.
Carrillo is facing third degree domestic assault, fourth degree assault, stealing and resisting charges. Carrillo is being held at the Boone County Jail on a $13,500 Bond.
According to online court records, officers were responding to reports of a half-naked woman asking people to call the police. When officers arrived, they noticed she had several cuts and bruises on her arms, legs and face.
The woman told officers she and Carrillo were in a tent together when she was woken up to him hitting and kicking her repeatedly, including punching her in the face, head, arms, and body multiple times.
