Man wanted in Johnson County homicide investigation arrested

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who law enforcement had been searching for -- for an alleged connection with a homicide investigation in Warrensburg -- has been arrested, according to a Saturday social media post by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Jonathan Goodwin Jr. was arrested on Saturday near the intersection of Franklin and Maguire streets in Warrensburg, the post states. Jail records indicate he is being held without bond. Charges have yet to be filed on Casenet.

The sheriff’s office stated in a post earlier this week that two people were found dead in the 200 block of South Highway 13.
