Boone County man charged with child porn possession
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Boone County man was charged on Tuesday with two counts of possessing child pornography.
Nicholas Toeniskoetter, 28, was arrested on Monday, according to the probable cause statement. His address listed on Casenet is Columbia, but jail records indicate he is from Ashland.
On June 8, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Task Force received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited children. NCME had received a complaint from Google claiming a user with an IP address registered to Toeniskoetter’s address had uploaded child porn, according to the probable cause statement. The IP address was linked to his address on Sept. 1, according to the report.
Toeniskoetter was arrested on Monday and allegedly admitted that he was the sole owner of the reported email address, Google account and associated phone number. Law enforcement searched his phone and allegedly found more child pornography.
