Two more men arrested, charged in relation to Camden County assault
CAMDENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
Two more men were arrested and charged in relation to an assault case in Camden County.
John Brennan Richard, 22, of Camdenton, and Jonathan Cosme Ortiz-Gopar, 23, of Montreal, Missouri, were arrested on Thursday. Both have been charged with first-degree assault and are being held in the Camden County Jail without bond. Court dates have not been announced.
Richard and Ortiz-Gopar, along with at least two other men, are accused of assaulting a man on Aug. 7 in the Greenview area of Camden County.
According to the probable cause statement, the victim was bleeding and had a number of other injuries to his head and face when he met with law enforcement. The victim said he was assaulted by six unknown men, the statement says.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release earlier this week that the victim was treated at an area hospital.
Aaron Gonzalez, 25, and Ramiro Aguilar-Garcia, 26, both of Lake Ozark, were charged this month with first-degree assault. Both men were listed on the Camden County Jail roster on Friday. However, Aguilar-Garcia’s bond was amended to $25,000 on Thursday, and court records indicate it was posted on Friday.
Gonzalez has a hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12.
