Three men charged in Dove Drive shooting indicted

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three men who were arrested and charged in relation to a shooting death in the 3200 block of Dove Drive last month were indicted by a Boone County grand jury on Friday.

Bryton Allen, 19, and Jajuan Crockett, 21, and Damarkus Williams, 18, are charged with  with second-degree murder, armed criminal and unlawful use of a weapon in the shooting death of 33-year-old Deshon J. Houston outside a home on Dove Drive. They are being held without bond at the Boone County Jail.

An arraignment hearing for Crockett is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 14; while Allen’s arraignment is set for 2 p.m. the same day at the Boone County Courthouse. Williams’ arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18.

The Columbia Police Department announced on Wednesday that it is searching for four other men allegedly connected to the shooting.

CPD is searching for:

  • Alqueze Jones, 19
  • Deljuan Turner, 19
  • Ja’shaun Barney, 18
  • Deazes Turner, 21
