Three accused in FIJI hazing case appear in court, next court dates set

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A hearing for three men accused in the hazing incident that left a University of Missouri student disabled had a hearing on Monday.

Samuel J. Morrison, Blake A. Morsovillo and John James O’Neill are charged with hazing – life endangerment. A motion to continue was filed and granted.  Morsovillo and O’Neill are due back in court 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 12; while Morrison’s next hearing is set for 9 a.m. Monday, May 22.

Last week, it was announced that another man accused will go to trial. Ryan P. Delanty is charged with hazing causing life endangerment and supplying liquor to a minor. A future court date was not released.

Another man charged in relation to the incident, Thomas Shultz, has a hearing set for 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 24. He is charged with hazing, tampering with physical evidence and supplying liquor to a minor.

Santulli was allegedly forced to drink large amounts of vodka, and then was taken to a hospital in a private car after he became unresponsive.

Santulli was left unable to walk, talk or see after the incident.
