Judge denies bond for suspect in Columbia parking lot shooting
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A judge denied bond Monday for one of the two suspects charged in a Boone County murder.
This comes after the mom of the victim made a statement in court against a bond reduction.
Loyal Martell is charged with first-degree murder after he is accused of shooting Shavez Waage in a Moser's parking lot on North Keene Street. Martell is also charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.
The motion for a bond reduction filed last month was denied. Martell is being held at the Boone County jail. The other suspect-- Joshua Dudley-- was also in court today. He pleaded not-guilty.
Dudley is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree attempted robbery and armed criminal action.
Martell has a hearing scheduled Nov. 14, while Dudley's next hearing is Nov. 21.
