One juvenile detained, more charges sought in string of salon burglaries in Sedalia

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Sedalia Police Department say they've detained several juveniles in connection with a string of burglaries.

Investigators say most of the crimes happened in April.

Thieves target salons and vehicles throughout the city.

Investigators searched a home on south Woodlawn Drive last week and found several items that had been reported stolen.

Police took one juvenile into custody and requested charges against others.

Police aren't releasing the suspects' names because of their age.
