Police called to fight involving knife at Columbia gas station
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No one was injured during a fight involving a knife at a Columbia gas station Wednesday.
Columbia police were called to a disturbance involving a knife at the Break Time gas station at Nebraska Avenue and Providence Road at about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Lt. Lance Bolinger with the Columbia Police Department said the fight was between two people who have an ongoing feud.
"I didn't know if there was a gun or not and there is too much gun violence as there is, and to have to worry about my baby in that situation, a mother shouldn't have to worry about whether or not their child is going to be shot," Shaneise Kincaid said.
Bolinger said one person displayed a knife but no one was stabbed. Several people were maced and detained, he said.
One person was arrested but it was not made clear what charges they will be facing.
